The Perseids

I helgen åkte vi upp till hütten för att titta på stjärnfall, eller rättare sagt perseiderna, som är ett meteorregn med störst aktivitet under den här tiden i augusti varje år. Förra året tajmade vi in det av en slump, men det var så underbart så vi ville absolut inte missa det i år. Det är en alldeles speciell känsla att vara uppe på berget under den tiden, att inte höra några andra människor runt omkring och ligga under bar himmel med ett täcke och se stjärnfall efter stjärnfall. Låt oss hoppas att några av mina önskningar slår in det här året också.

This weekend we went up to the hut to watch shooting stars, or more correctly the meteor shower called the Perseids. Last year we caught it by chance, but since it was so amazing we didn't want to miss it this year either. It is a really special feeling to be up on the mountain during this time, to not hear any other people around, lie under the sky with a duvet, and watch star after star falling in the sky. Let's hope some of my wishes come true this year as well.
