Kanske vänder vinden nu? Det har varit lite strul med att få mina hormoner betalda av försäkringskassan här i Österrike. De betalar dem inte automatiskt eftersom de inte är tillgängliga i Österrike utan måste importeras från Tyskland, och även för att det inte är en vanlig behandlingsmetod (tack så mycket, jag vet redan att detta är en ovanlig sjukdom i min ålder). Om jag skulle betala dem skulle det kosta ca. 15 000 kr för tre månaders behandling. Inte så jättesugen på det. Min husläkare skickade in en ansökan till försäkringskassan idag, som först blev avslagen. Som tur var skickade de in ansökan en andra gång och den blev godkänd! Känns så skönt att ha det problemet avklarat!
Maybe this is the wind of change? It has been a lot of fuss with getting my hormones paid by the social insurance agency here in Austria. The don't pay them automatically since they are not available in Austria but must be imported from Germany, and additionally because this is not a regular treatment (well thanks so much, I already know that this is an unusual condition at my age). If I paid for these hormones they would cost me about 1600 euro for a three months treatment. Not very keen on that. My GP sent the insurance agency an application today that was denied at first. Luckily they sent it a second time and it got approved. It feels good to at least have this problem solved!
